The 4th Ministerial Conference of the Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System (RIMES) was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 2025. This conference brought together member states and collaborating countries from Africa and Asia to strengthen regional cooperation in disaster risk reduction and multi-hazard early warning systems. The event focused on enhancing institutional frameworks, sharing best practices, and advancing the implementation of the RIMES Master Plan to improve resilience against natural hazards across the region.
